I’m going on tour – a blog tour. For the next three weeks, I’ll be making stops every week day at different locations in the blogosphere to talk about my book. There will be reviews, interviews, guest posts and perhaps even podcasts. It would be fun to tour the country on a book tour, but also rather expensive and I don’t have the vacation time. A blog tour is better because I save a lot on gas money. And I don’t have to find someone to feed my cat.
We’re kicking it off today with the woman who helped get this whole book thing rolling, Kalyn Denny of Kalyn’s Kitchen. Here is a schedule of the rest of my stops, which I will update with direct links to the posts as they go live. It should be lots of fun, so I hope everyone will check it out!

I just wanted to say that I bought the book this weekend and am almost finished. It is great, and I can see some of myself in the book. Thanks for writing your story, because I know it helps me, and others, keep moving. You rock, PQ!
Hey PQ… I hate to be be a stickler, but your first week’s dates are all off by a day. Today is Monday, May 5. You can delete this message once you fix it.
Oops! Can you tell my mind is going? Thanks for the correction. I’ve fixed them.
What a fab concept, I’ll be sure to look out for you. I’m just new to this wonderful world of blogging and I’m completely and utterly inspired. You’ve done what I’m dreaming of.
I wish you every possible success with the book, you’re an inspiration [over-use of the word but utterly appropriate me thinks. I’m likely to tell you every time I post you a message, it’ll be a wee while before you can take it as a given]
I also read your book!! Loved it and I see many of the things that I am going through in your book. Congrats on your half-marathon finish! I will check out the reviews.
I’m about 3/4 of the way through your book – and I think it’s great! Thanks for putting it out there! I’ve even mentioned it a couple of times on my blog. Once I’m done, I’ll probably mention it again!
I’m getting a 403 error on the Calorie Lab (2nd) link.
Whoops! Looks like an extra space snuck in at the end of the link. Thanks for telling me. I’ve fixed it.
Jennette, if you’d like to let your blog fans know that I’ll be giving away a copy too! We’ll do something fun over at Manic Mommy’s in honor of your Half-Assed book!!! hee hee hee!
Jennette: Congratulations on your book. I purchased a copy at the Borders at Casleton Mall Sat the 3rd. I was surprised they didn’t have a table set up for one of their local authors — instead I had to dig for it in the health/diet section! [I told em so too.] Wishing you the best.
Sarah’s review is up, if you want to grab the URL and update the link.
Hi, I am almost done with your book. It made me laugh out loud. I ordered the book to help me stay motivated on my weight loss journey. I will be 46 in a few months and so tired of being a fat ass. I have put on so much weight in the last five years. I will diet for a few weeks and then because I’m not losing fast enough and seem to be suffering more that I give up. This last year I hit 200 pounds. I’m short so this is huge. I have lost all my self esteem and with much sadness had to admit this is not living, this is existing. I’m so afraid that I will give up on myself. How were you able to stay on track after not losing for weeks? I want to enjoy my summer, not hide out inside because I look like a beached whale in a swim suit. Keep up the good work, you have inspired me. P.S I also hate grammar errors LOL. I’m typing on a IPad so sorry if there are errors.
