As someone who has been following sports their whole life, there’s just so many to choose from.
Here’s a few that come to mind:

Lou Gherig for his dogged determination in the face of a disease that ended up killing him

Any professional athelete with asthma-Especially swimmers and runners.

Shawn White-The kid has it all, the brains, the talent, the work ethic…

Actually, many different ones, but in particular, MMA fighters Sarah Kaufman and Cristiane (Cyborg) Santos, boxer Lucia Rijker, six time Olympian trap shooter Dr. Susan Nattrass and weightlifter Tara Nott.

After thinking about it I really never had an athletic inspiration. I guess I am encouraged by every other person that steps foot into the gym and pushes themselves to go further to reach their goals. For me loosing weight has not been easy. So I am encouraged by anyone else on the same journey.

My athletic inspiration are the Williams sisters, tennis’ reigning queens. They are talented and inspirational athletes, who are also gorgeous and kind. Love them!
