My favorite farm animals are the chickens I remember on MY grandparent's farm in Illinois. One of my favorite chores when I visited them was to proudly and carefully "gather the eggs" and "feed the chickens". I am 53 now but can see the 6-yr. old in my mind, so conscientious and serious about my farm work. Long gone are those days, but I am so blessed to have the memories!

You know what, I actually prefer skyr (Siggi's brand is nice) to Greek yoghurt. And among nonfat Greek yoghurts, I prefer FAGE 0% to Oikos... It's the texture. A bit thicker and creamier.

Lemme know when you review one of THOSE...

hehe.

Definitely cows. I remember when I was in college, a friend and I drove out into the country and found a field of cows to photograph. They all looked angry, but curious at the same time.

Just one? Really? I'll have to go with cows. I went up to Traderspoint Creamery one afternoon with friends about a year ago and hung out with the cows there. They were very sweet and I love their big eyes. We watched them get milked and got to pet them. I even liked their runny noses.

I don't think I can bring myself to watch that movie. I can't even watch those ASPCA commercials with Sarah McLachlin. I try to eat organically as much as possible, anyway.

I like ducks. Ducks are farm animals (well, they are in some Harvest Moon games, right?)

The barn cat. My great aunt had a farm and every summer we would visit and play with a new set of kittens. I always looked for a black one, and there was always one there. Otherwise I am not of fan of the ugly, mean, smelly types. And I don't eat them either! Yay vegetarians!
