I hope you know that your Cow giveaway had it's effect on me because I ran out and ate a Chicken Fil A dinner tonight. Yum!

It is good food, and they really do have some healthier choices on their menu, but what made my experience so great was the service.

I don't know what it is about Chick Fil A people, but they are so nice -- every one of them has been ultra polite. Do they get their service training at Disneyland? They really must.

And you gotta love a place that gives a kids meal in a paper bag covered in suggestions to kids for "How to Be Kind". Wow. That is a *really different* kind of kids' meal! It included some food for thought -- for me, mostly, since my kid is too small to read.

Still -- they gave us a book anyway.

Well, the coupons won't work in Rancho Cucamonga, but the food is good out here : )

Cows are cute!

I am in Indy. I am currently reading your book.

My favorite breakfast is a restaurant Denver Omelet (no cheese) and lots of home fries and pancakes. I don't have any idea when I will eat that again, so the memories will have to sustain me.

Now, I like oatmeal w/ bananas, nuts, honey and flax seed. Or, if I am feeling creative, I will do french toast (organic whole wheat bread w/ egg whites). I saute a banana in a tiny bit of sugar. So yummy!!

I read your book & recommended to a friend who's looking at 300, but wants to look the other way. Thanks for writing it.

Anyway favorite breakfast, open-faced peanut butter sandwich with a spoon ful of orange mamalade & steaming cup of hot tea.

My favorite breakfast for a day when I need to stay full (due to a late lunch) is a whole grain hot cereal. I really like steel cut oatmeal, and I have also enjoyed whole grain teff.

I live in Indianapolis and I am hoping for the coupon!

Also, a couple of weeks ago you wrote about Sound Medicine, an NPR radio show about health information. I love that show! I too was surprised to learn that it is not a national show, because it is so well done. Barbara Lewis, the show host, has some great doctors and researchers and it is interesting to listen to!

Chick-Fil-A Cow! Yippee!

My favorite breakfast at the moment: polenta made with some soy milk. (I'm guessing regular milk would be just as tasty, but it goes bad faster. So, as long as I'm drinking my own milk - soy it is.)

Cookies are also a good breakfast. But that goes without saying.

Unfortunately I don't live in those cities, I've heard of Chick-fil-a but I've never been there.

My healthy breakfast of choice lately would be an egg beater omelet with mango salsa inside and a bit of sour cream on top. My unhealthy dream breakfast would be a huge omelet stuffed with everything but mushrooms, side of pancakes, real syrup, orange juice and an everything bagel with cream cheese. sigh, but alas, the mango salsa 80 calorie omelet is the one that I will eat every morning. The other one will exist only in my dreams. I've lost about 100 lbs. and cannot ever return to the other breakfast.

By the way, I totally related to your post a billion years ago about how you seemed to SKIP the size 22/24 or something like that. I hadn't been a 22/24 since high school and when I bought 2 pair of clearance jean shorts (NOT the elastic waist kind), one a size 18/20 and the other a 22/24, I was shocked to find that the 18/20 fit loosly and the 22/24 are unwearable. I never felt so happy about "wasting" money in my life!

I love Chick-fil-a!!!

Yogurt Parfait would be a great breakfast followed by a Chicken sandwich on a wheat bun and those waffle fries for lunch!

Hey, I live in Austin, didn't know we were a test market for anything but horrible broadband metering, heh.

My favorite breakfast is:

Normal/being good - oatmeal right out of the package (no water, I know I'm weird) or a fiber one bar and fruit.

A little splurgey - a bagel with bacon and cream cheese

Super splurgey - chocolate chip pancakes, crispy bacon, and crispy hashbrowns. Mmmmm....
