Nothing but fustration, stopped working after 2 weeks.
On the phone with Tech support for a total of 2 hrs trying to repair and reset it via computer to no avail waited 2 weeks to receive rreplacement. Total waiting time on my tries to contact Tech support, 2 hrs. 40 min, asked to speak with a supervisor told he would call back, still waiting. If agravation burns calories I should be at my goal weight by now. If you purchase this, GOOD LUCK

Yes....I'm so frustrated...same thing happened to me..apparently, this happens CONSTANTLY but the company is not addressing it. I put in the serial number and get the same message...of course, they're the only company on the planet that doesnt offer 24/7 customer service...so I have to wait till tomorrow to call. What really pisses me off is that they don't fix this glitch...Just google the term "bodybugg serial number won't work" and there's about a million pages cacheted...horrid customer service.

i just bought the body bugg, tried activating it and get this message

Sorry, you've entered the wrong serial number. If you have a gray bodybugg®, omit the leading zero when entering the serial numbers. If you have a black bodybugg®, enter all the numbers. For technical support contact 1-866-314-9423.

has anyone had this happen? doesnt say it is already used? help?

I looked into this but went with one called the M2. it's not bulky, you wear it on your hip like a pedometer and great online support. plus a lot less cheaper.

I am extremely upset with the budy bugg company. I bought it from 24 hour fitness on Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood and tried to activate it, but it said my serial no was already in use. I called the company and said I needed to go back to 24 hour fitness and return it. I went back there and they said they didn't have the key to get me a new one and had to wait for the manager who would be in later that day to give me a refund. I am out 300 bucks and every time I go back to 24 hour fitness I have to pay 5 bucks for parking. I just wish there was good customer service somewhere. I am stuck with a useless body bugg which I cant use because I cant activate and am so frustrated with 24 hour fitness. I advise people to dont buy it, waste of time and money.

The bodybugg is cool but has a lot of issues. I did not realize how problematic it would be with safari. I also think it is very overpriced.

The product would probably be a great product if they had good(or even halfway decent) customer service and tech support. You can never get through. There is no response when an email is sent. There is no response to voice mail. I have been trying for four weeks. I cannot even get in touch with them to send my armband (it is not working) back for the warranty. I would not recommend anyone getting involved with this company. A great product with a not so great company.

I have to say that Bodybugg's so-called customer service line is an answering machine, and no one ever responds to phone messages left or emails sent. I have been trying for ages to re-subscribe after letting my subscrip lapse. They have taken my money but still not turned on my service, and I have gotten absolutely no response from repeated phone messages and emails. If you go on the bodybugg message boards you will see dozens of similar complaints. Beware!

I don't believe the numbers and I think it is a waste of money--especially the monthly rate!
