When I was in high school I would write it in my yearbook and people would still spell it wrong. There are even members of my family that continue to spell it "Jamie" and I am not sure why but there are a percentage of people that say my name incorrectly when they see it. It is phonetic. Jay-me. My mom got creative and put the letter Y in all 3 of her kids names. It has driven the extended family nuts for years.
