Perhaps Annoyed is just upset at your (frequent) penchant to sell out and advertise. It’s like listening to the radio where the DJs try to subtly incorporate a shout-out to the local car wash. That said, I’m used to it by now (comes with living in the 21st century), and I love your blog, PQ!

Uh, in case you didn’t notice, that wasn’t “criticism” that was just an inaccurate attack. “nerdy little fat girl” – okay, she is female and she is no longer fat but she is not little (i.e. a girl) and nerdy – well, to each his own. At MIT the response was along the lines of “I get [nerdier] things than [Pastaqueen] with my cereal in the morning.”

Admittedly, the twitter thing is not my ball of wax, but oh well. I don’t think that makes her “rule the earth”.

And it’s really not clear to me what the “arrogant” criticism was aimed at. That PQ has a blog? That other people have found that blog and find her funny? That she got a book deal out of it? There are some arrogant bloggers out there, but I have to say that PQ strikes me as one of the most “this is what I think, what do y’all think?”.

Is Annoyed someone who knows PQ in real life and has been rejected by her personally? Or did annoyed just leave some comments that didn’t get a response because, you know, there are a lot of comments on any PQ post? Will this mystery ever be solved?

This is a fascinating experience to me, talking to someone who usually seems normal and fun but who is screaming mad about something. They seem crazy, they’re making mountains out of molehills, things are very Black and White, and they make these claims that are contentless because there’s no objective FACT in it. I have a friend who does this, and only sometimes can I talk her down. Other times, she turns on me. Even much later, I don’t dare bring up the subject because it’s like she has permanent blinders on to any kind of perspective in the situation.

Do most people do this some of the time? I think that I get angry/overtired sometimes, but can find perspective later.

i think mean skinny girl is jealous. obviously. we all know jenette, and love her, and her comments. and who isnt a dork on the inside, raise your hand. skinny girl is probably still in high school, since thats exactly what she sounds like. and by the way, according to a medical professional, shes too skinny and needs to gain about 15 lbs. to maintain a healthy weight. what a little snot! who does she think she is? I LOVE PQ AND SHOUT IT LOUD AND PROUD!
