Hallmark Give-Away Results – Vidcast

You can watch the results of my first, ever prize give-away in my first, ever vidcast! Yeah, I didn’t know my voice sounded like that either.

If you are sneaking your blog reading in at work or have a deaf computer with no speakers, the results and further details can be read behind the jump.

The winners of the Hallmark give-away, were Sandi (my fellow Hoosier), coraspartan, Rachel, and April N., all of whom have already been contacted about their win.

I assigned everyone numbers in reverse order, so the first person to comment was 116 and the last person to comment was 1. I did this because it was the easiest way to paste everyone’s name from my blogging software into a text editor that let me see line numbers. I then went to Random.org to select 4 random numbers generated via atmospheric noise, which makes them really random and not pseudo-random like some computer-generated random numbers. I take my randomness very seriously.

Thanks to everyone who entered and congratulations to the winners! I hope to do more give-aways in the future, so keep reading!

Hee! You sound so American. Which is a stupid thing to say I suppose a you are, in fact, American. I guess in my head everyone pretty much has my accent until they prove otherwise.

See, you are just as funny on video! “My future is your past.” You remind me of the funnier members of my family (of which I cannot be named, I’m afraid). I envy that.

hahaha, I loved when you said, “My future is your past.”

Sounds like it should be in a movie. Or is it and I’m just behind the time and don’t know which one you’re quoting from?

Okay, this is going to sound really geeky of me, because I am, I guess. Anyway, your voice sounds just like the Starbuck(don’t know name of actress) on the new Battlestar Galactica.

PQ – Katee Sackhoff! I’m a geek too, so I know exactly who you’re talking about and Starbuck is way cool, so thanks.

Awwww, you are even cuter than I thought you would be, and I thought you would be super cute. It was so fun to see a little bit of our personality through more than just the writing.

Okay, no one else mentioned, or noticed… Do you wear a retainer, braces, or have a natural lisp? Or am I just crazy? I do agree about the Janeane Garafolo sounding voice. Nice :)

PQ – Uh, no, no, and no. And thanks so much for asking.

Hi Jeanette!

The much anticipated video from KC is available. I actually did two in between the other one million things I’m also doing. Hope all is well in your blog world. I’m still learning how to do all of this so don’t expect PERFECTION. Go to: http://www.youtube.com/babyboomerbev

For some reason I don’t have your email address so I had to post here.

pQ have you ever blogged about what people are saying to you as you continue your journey? People from work, your family, friends, etc. Do you get any uh… ‘useful advice’, unusual encouragement, backhanded compliments (ie. You’re not as wide!), things like that.
