Everlast Giveaway

I have more free stuff for you (if you wear a size S/P)! I feel like a modern day Robin Hood, taking items from marketing people and redistributing them to my blog readers. Everlast sent me their Energy Studio Jacket and Studio Pant which retail for $36.99 and $32.99 respectively, though the tags say $45.00 and $40.00. I guess they do that so you feel like you’re getting a deal?

They’re size S/P, which is my bad since I should have requested a larger size, but they are available in sizes small through x-large if you like the look of them. They’re made of a polyester and spandex blend that helps wick perspiration away from your skin. The pants have a pocket designed for holding an MP3 player. The jacket has two zip pockets too where you can stick your keys and cell phone. Tags are still attached and I promise I did not go running in them, so they still smell fresh and not like sweaty blogger.

If you want to enter to win these, just comment on this entry before 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 16th, 2007 and I’ll randomly pick a winner. Only residents of the US or Canada please. Yeah, I decided to let you Canadians enter this time. And if you are willing to pay for international shipping yourself, I will let people outside of the US enter too. I hate for people to feel left out. Be sure to calculate the international shipping here first to be sure you can afford it. I’d estimate the package will weigh 2 lbs. Good luck!

If Everlast asks for feedback you might suggest that they have a size chart somewhere on their site. There’s none now.

(Don’t bother to include me in the drawing; I’m usually wearing a medium these days.)

That’s adorable and would fit me and my daughter. Hmmm – would I keep it or give it to her? hehe Count me in. :)

“Sweaty blogger”? Just wait, someone will launch a perfume with that name. And then send you a marketing sample.

Yes, count me in too. I’ve lost 66 pounds since my heaviest point in 2006, but since the beginning of the year, it’s been 60 pounds. I still have 50 to go, but I’m feeling so much better compared to 60 pounds ago. My inspiration to lose weight was painful fatty liver, which had followed gallbladder removal about 8 years ago. I’m a bit older than you and I worry about permanent damage I may have caused but so far all of my vitals look good.

I only discovered you recently but I read all the archives and you are truly inspiring. My one complaint was that I was so addicted to your story I neglected my own elliptical machine for about a week and it’s been hard to back into the swing of things. Fortunately, I’ve still managed to lose weight in that time as you also inspired me to go pick up a copy of SB and Ana Caban’s Pilates! Haven’t summoned the courage yet for the Pilates, but the SB is working fine, the scale keeps moving south (got into the 170s this week) YAY!

Thanks for offering these in a contest! Please count me in :-) I started on the South Beach diet mainly for health reasons (not to lose weight). But both my husband and I slimmed down since we began back in August–I’m down two pant sizes! Thanks for sharing your inspiring story.

@Sara – would it be possible to remove my last name from his post, by any chance? it’s one of the first things that comes up when I google myself and I know I out my whole name by accident
