I wrote a guest post today for Elastic Waist which is basically about, um, how cute I think I am. Yeah, vain much? Okay, gotta’ go. I have a date to make out with my own reflection in the girl’s room. It’s frustrating though. Whenever I lean in for a kiss, my mirror twin tilts her head in the wrong direction.

As I read your post I couldn’t help but sing the old English Beat song, “Mirror in the bathroom”..I may have just aged myself but that could be your new theme song now that you are officially a “skinny minny” :-)

What an absolutely freaking AWESOME post (the Hello Kitty one, not this one, although it’s just too funny as well). Your book is gonna ROCK sister. I cannot wait.
I guess I’d missed the rest of the title of your book on your blog? Or is it debuting over on Elastic Waist? I LIKE IT a lot. You are gonna sell a gazillion books. I hope your publishers get you excerpted in Oprah’s and other girlie-type magazines, cause then there will be absolutely NO stopping your book sales. Your writing is amazing.
You totally need to post a picture of your fine self in that Hello Kitty shirt. =)

Thanks, guys! Now I just have to cross my fingers that the book turns out as good as you are expecting it to. Then I’ll uncross my fingers and get back to revising it.

Hi, I just found your site. Very inspiring. I’ve struggled with my weight for the last five years, and am currently on a fitness & healthier diet quest. Keep on going for those last few pounds!

Picture of shirt?
I like that post ;) My family tell me I have to stop saying “I want that on a T-shirt” whenever I hear a witty phrase…
But I’m glad you embraced the shirt. I’m not sure I would have dared, but then I’m too old to be cute these days. (My favourite T-shirt that I own is “Keep out of direct sunlight”.)

Dear god, woman, you are not half as cute as I am! No, no, I mean, you’re TWICE as cute as I am, and I sashay around like I’m a princess and god’s gift to the male population, etc. Of course I have other days when I seriously considering wearing a mask and maybe a barrel or something. Or a trash bag with holes cut out for the neck and arms.
Loved the article.
