Is it weird that I’m kind of happy I ‘gained’ a pound this week? I guess I just like to be proven right that there was no way I could have lost 8 pounds in two weeks. Seven pounds in 3 weeks – that sounds legitimate and not the product of some alternate fantasy land where it rains Hershey chocolate kisses.
I’ve taken the last three days off from walking because I think I irritated a nerve in the back of my right leg, my sciatic nerve perhaps? This is all completely non-educated, non-medical guessing on my part. But I had the same type of pain in my left leg a couple months ago and it went away after I rested for a couple days. I miss the walking. I think you can get semi-addicted to exercise. Knowing how much it’s bugged me not to walk the past couple days I can’t imagine how frustrating an injury must be to a professional athlete.
More fall sales today! Lane Bryant sent me a coupon for $15 off a $15 or more purchase, so I’m definitely going to use that. Free money, hell yeah!

Rest up – it WILL get better. You’re right to take a small break for the injury, no matter how minor it seems. Now, if you could come kick my ASS back into gear and get me moving, that would be fantastic!!

Hi there, found your blog through Fatqueen over at Diaryland. You’re doing amazing! I love the 360 views too, very Matrix-like! I’m following WW, I was just wondering what program you’re doing. Is it SBD? I’m sure you have more than enough reading to do but if you ever want to check me out, I’m swirl-girl over at Diaryland. Take care!

Hey Kelly, I am indeed doing the South Beach Diet. I also walk about 4-5 times a week. I keep telling myself I should start doing weight training too, but I haven’t. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll be sure to check out your blog. I love reading new people!
