I've lost 40+ pounds this year (with quite a few more pounds to go,) and for the first time in FOREVER, I found clothes in regular stores! Granted, they're stores that have size 16 and 18, but I think I'm out of the 20's! Lane Bryant was never satisfying, but it was better than some of the plus sized sections at other stores. I’m reading through the archives, and I just had to comment about Lane Bryant. I'd love to be in a size 12! That's actually my weight loss goal, I'd love to walk into a normal store like Kohls or JC Penney and not have to go to the plus size department for a pair of jeans! Also, another thing I like about this ad, besides the curves, is that there's some diversity in it! They've got different races and skin tones (I dig the butt-white girl, as I am pigment-challenged as well, and I tend to glow in the dark) represented! And one of them is even sporting a tattoo! Many women love the Dove campaign for real women because it is selling them the soothing white lie that all women are beautiful no matter what their size. That´s not real to me. I think their stomachs (and who knows what else) have been photoshoped. They should be much rounder.
