In honor of it’s 10th anniversary online, Amazon.com has posted a list of their top 25 best-selling authors. No less than three of them have diet books out. They are – #11) Dr. Phil, The Ultimate Weight Solution, #12) Robert Atkins, Dr. Atkins’ New Diet Revolution, and #24) Arthur Agatston, The South Beach Diet. I guess if you want to be a long-term bestseller, a diet book is the way to go. Don’t worry Dr. Agatston, your book hasn’t been out as long. You’ll catch up! And Dr. Phil has so many other books out he has a clear advantage.
To be fair, there are also several authors of self-help books on the list (The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey, Who Moved My Cheese? by Spencer Johnson) as well as business and money books (One Minute Manager by Ken Blanchard, Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki).
So, if you can convince people you know more than they do about weight loss, money, or life, you can really cash in.
Here’s the full list.
